What is a typical session like?
Sessions last 55 minutes and utilize the apparatus-reformer, Cadillac or tower, wunda chair, pedi-pole, spine corrector, small barrel and ladder barrel.
What is the difference between private and group classes? What should I choose and would I benefit more from one over the other?
A private lesson is wonderful because you get exactly what you need! You have the undivided attention of your instructor who suits your workout from start to finish for your body.
At Vive, group apparatus classes are limited to four people to provide you individualized attention in a small group setting.
How much does it cost?
The cost varies from$10-$60 per session depending if you want private, semi-private or group Pilates sessions. View our rates.
What are the benefits of Pilates?
There are so many benefits to Pilates! Pilates helps you strengthen, lengthen and tone your body! It will help make you more flexible, will decrease back pain or eliminate it all together! It will tighten your core and better your posture.
Are there any reasons I shouldn’t do Pilates?
Pilates is beneficial for all. We have instructed clients of all fitness levels, skill levels and those with physical limitations.
How long does it take to see and feel the benefits?
Joseph Pilates said,
“In 10 sessions, you will feel the difference”
“In 20 sessions you will see the difference.”
“In 30 sessions you’ll be on your way to having a whole new body.”
But, most of our clients feel a difference when their lesson is finished- they feel stretched, stronger and stress-free!

You can work with any of our instructors! Lori, Alli and Kelsey are all available for private and semi private appointments as well as group apparatus sessions!
What is the difference between the Pilates classes offered at my gym vs classes/sessions at a Pilates studio?
Pilates Mat classes in gyms can be beneficial for basic core strength. At Vive Pilates, not only do we improve core strength, we assist clients by providing Pilates apparatus, individualized attention and specific client feedback. Clients will see and feel progression from week to week to accomplish their goals.
